Return & Refund Policy
At Police-Lab (formerly Interceptor Innovations), every product we ship is the result of hands-on work, careful programming, and a deep understanding of the vehicles we serve. These are not mass-produced items pulled from a shelf—they are specifically configured and programmed for your order, your vehicle, and your needs.
Because of this highly customized process, we are not able to accept returns or exchanges in the traditional sense.
Fitment Verification & Final Quality Assurance
While placing your order, we expect customers to have a basic understanding of their vehicle, including its components, model year, and factory-equipped features. Just like when purchasing a vehicle from a dealer or previous owner, you are expected to understand basic information about the vehicle, including its equipment and general configuration, and to be aware of at least some fundamental features and common knowledge. To ensure compatibility, we require your vehicle’s VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), which will be verified through our internal database and official Ford Motorcraft as-built data systems. Orders will only be processed and shipped after we have confirmed that the selected upgrade is fully compatible with your vehicle. In cases of mismatch or unconfirmed compatibility, we will contact you via phone or email to review the order, and may recommend an alternative product or cancel the order upon discussion. Once your order has been verified, prior to shipment, all modules will undergo a final bench test conducted by our professional technicians as the last step before shipping, ensuring that every component is fully functional, properly configured, and free of any defects. This process allows us to maintain a 100% standard of product reliability and performance. As a result, our service eliminates the possibility of receiving a product that does not fit or is incompatible with your vehicle. Since each order is validated and confirmed prior to shipment, all sales are considered final, and we are unable to offer refunds based on compatibility or fitment-related concerns.
Custom Orders, Permanent Programming
All of our modules and upgrade components are tailored to fit your exact vehicle configuration. Once an order is placed, it quickly moves into our programming and testing queue. That means by the time it reaches your hands, it's already been uniquely prepared for your setup. For this reason, we do not offer general returns or refunds—once programmed, a module cannot simply be reset and reused for another vehicle.
When We Do Accept Returns
That said, we stand by the quality of what we build. If there is a confirmed manufacturing defect—meaning the item was faulty when it left our hands—we’re here to help. In such cases, we handle returns or exchanges on a case-by-case basis, depending on the nature of the issue.
If you believe there is a genuine fault with your order, please reach out to us within 7 calendar days of delivery. Include a detailed description of the issue, along with clear photos or video whenever possible. Our team will carefully review your case and offer a resolution, which may include a replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion.
Please understand: this does not cover issues caused by incorrect installation, modification, user error, vehicle-side problems, or compatibility assumptions made without prior consultation.
About Order Cancellations
Because of how quickly we begin processing and programming orders, we are unable to cancel orders once they have entered production. If you realize there has been a mistake or need to make a change, please contact us immediately after placing your order. While we will do everything we can to help, we cannot guarantee that changes can be made once the programming process has started.
